In Remembrance is a limited edition of 250 prints of a specially commissioned painting depicting the scene from the Memorial and Thanksgiving Service for the seven members of the 1 Battalion Welsh Guards who were killed in action in Afghanistan in 2009.
The painting depicts the altar, in the All Saints Garrison Church, Aldershot, draped in the Battalion’s Colours with seven candles on top of the altar, one for each of those killed in action.
For a minimum donation of £100 you can purchase a limited edition print which will be despatched free of charge to any address in the UK. Your donation will go directly to the Welsh Guards Appeal. The Welsh Guards Appeal is a registered charity which aims to help the families of those killed in action and also the wounded and their families from the Welsh Guards.
The painting is by the up and coming artist Hugh Beattie who is in the TA and served with the Welsh Guards in 2003/2004. All prints are signed by the artist. Prints are A2 size (42x60cm)
