My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In May 2012, I shall be part of a relay team running the Edinburgh Marathon with one of my very good friends Lesley Latta and two more of her friends. Sadly back in 9th Feb 2011, Lesley's son Scott lost his battle with Leukemia, he was only aged 7. During his stay in hospital Fairy Box (a charity which helps and supports ill children, their families and the medical/ nursing staff involved in their care) helped Scott throughout his day. They helped to distract Scott about his illness and the invasive treatments that he would have to face, they provided Scott with toys and games allowing him to be a child, helping to lift his spirits and reduce his worries. Not only does fairy box give joy and pleasure to terminal ill children they also give joy to day patients.
