Six months ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer after routine screening. I had a mastectomy and reconstruction. It's been grim but I thank my lucky stars that the cancer was picked up early and I don't need further treatment. My friends and family have been fantastic throughout and my partner Afe has been a star. They would now like to see me get back to 'normal'. So I've set myself this goal of completing the Challenge and raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, an organisation which funds a large proportion of the UK's breast cancer research and campaigns tirelessly for those affected by it.
