We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

Wesleyan Assurance Society has joined forces with Birmingham Children's Hospital for a major fundraising campaign in aid of its pioneering cancer unit.

The Birmingham-based financial mutual will be one of the charity’s highest profile partners and is aiming to raise more than £250,000 in 2013/14.

If you would like to support the fundraising of Team Wesleyan for the Rap Jump on Saturday 4, October or the Great Birmingham Run on Sunday 19, October then make your donation on this page and wish the teams luck!

The money will go towards the hospital’s £4million campaign to redevelop its cancer unit and make it one of the largest of its kind in the country. Wesleyan’s fundraising activities will be used to renovate play rooms for the children and provide dedicated areas for parents visiting the hospital.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Birmingham Children's Hospital and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Thank you for your support.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
