                                                 REG BOURNE 2nd APRIL 1934 - 3rd APRIL 2010

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice in Nuneaton ,North Warwickshire.

My Dad ,Reg Bourne was diagnosed with terminal Colon Cancer in August of 2008 and fought battle after battle with dignity ,courage and some how managed to retain a sense of humour. Dad lost his fight with cancer on the 3rd of April 2010 the day after his 76th birthday ,we all miss him so much . I know I am biased but he was a great man and I wanted to show him how much I respect ,admire and love him.

It has been an honour to run the marathon for my Dad and the Hospice , the challenge was far greater than I anticipated but with the support of family, friends and colleagues I managed to finish in 5 hours 37 minutes, thank you everyone for your support. We have raised together over £6,000.00 with donations still arriving , it has been a tremendous comfort to all the family to know just how much people care.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks for your support

Kind regards

Will
