Story
On 21st April I will be running the London Marathon for a great cause, The Art Room (http://www.theartroom.org.uk). A family friend, Juli, founded the charity 12 years ago and it is based close to home, here in Oxford with stronger ambitions than ever to expand further following the establishment of its London Art Rooms.
The Art Room is a charity that helps 5-16 year olds who suffer from behavioural and emotional difficulties such as autism spectrum disorders. This makes an enormous difference in a fantastic, unique fashion, employing art as therapy to really make a difference in the lives of these young children.
In January 2012 the charity took a huge step forwards, as the Duchess of Cambridge became a patron in an important endorsement of the ongoing acheivements of this inspiring charity. However, it is crucial that the Art Room continues to grow and make a difference, so both the charity and I would thoroughly appreciate any donations, large or small, you can afford to give.
Thank you very much!
