Very many thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page, and my final Sponsored!!! Challenge for this Year I Promise!!! I might do others this year but only for fun and the experience.

Well I did it, took me much longer than I had hoped, due to being VERY VERY HOT 87f (HOTTEST DAY OF YEAR SO FAR) I took 5hrs 17mins at average speed of 10.9 mph and max speed of 29.1 mph I burnt off 4304 Calories. I did suffer heat syncope (fainting increase of temperature and drop in blood pressure) at 34 miles near Horsham and had to rest at the side of the Road for about 20 mins, my HR had dropped to about 89 my normal average when cycling is 137and my Max is about 171 thought I was going to have to withdraw from the ride, I recovered enough to be able to carry on to the finish. There we many riders who were overcome with the HEAT!!! (Also I had NO Punctures either)

I drove down to Hove for the 0800 start of this 60 miles cycle ride for another go at that dreaded!! Devils Dyke, this time the start was from from Hove on a circular route, via Shoreham, Steyning, Shipley, South of Horsham, Warninglid, Saddlescombe Farm and then the SPECTACULA!! but DREADED!! DEVILS DYKE!!! then it was sheer heaven last 5 miles all down Hill to Hove sea front, and the Grand Finish!!
