It all started from an innocent Facebook post from Shelley where she warmly invited friends to take part in this event…well when we say warmly, what we actually mean is that she forced us into participating.  The rest is history – this challenge is incredibly gruelling but at the same time we all know what a sense of achievement this will be to complete.

Many people have failed to complete this challenge in the target timescale but we are all training hard to achieve this (our aching legs will testify to this…).

Macmillan Cancer Support provides invaluable emotional and financial support to people who are diagnosed with cancer, a disease which affects the lives of far too many people.
