| We are going to take part in The Samworth Challenge. This is a challenge organised by Samworth Brothers who are committed to giving something back to the community. We have chosen the Children's Liver Disease Foundation as our charity for very personal reasons. In 1990 Belinda lost Laura to Liver Disease, she was very poorly for the whole of her life. | |||||||||
| The Challenge is in teams of four which is taking place at Coniston Water in the Lake District in June 2009. Our team has decided to take the tough route which requires a high level of fitness. This involves a walk of 14km with a climb of 1056m, a canoe sections that is 11km long and a mountain bike ride of 30km with a height gain of 500m. We have all also got to take part in a compulsory abseil, all within a twelve hour time limit! | |||||||||
