What is ZambiAids???
Zambiaids is a Nottingham University student-led project raising money for PEPAIDS, Registered charity number 1093039, which acts to alleviate poverty and HIV/AIDS.
Volunteers say our events are great fun Previously we have had club nights, gigs, bake sales, raffles, marathons, rag raids, Reading festival, Glastonbury, cake sales, speed-dating and Christmas lucky dip!
What do you get out of it:
- Fundraising is FUN
-We have loads of socials planned
-There is the opportunity to travel to Zambia for a very reasonable price
-Skills learnt, such as, being part of a team, is great for your CV.
-There is always opportunity to be on the committee.
-There is the opportunity to organize and manage your own project.
-Get involved as much or as little as you want!!!
Our fundraising target this year is £2,000 - we can only do this with your help!
What can you do:
- Turn up to our fundraising events (See Calendar)
- Come along to meetings and Socials to find out what we are all about
- Become part of this year's or next year's committee.
- The opportunity to go out to Africa on placement (email us for more details)
