In August 2010 we are travelling to the Watoto Villages in benefit the many children orphaned by AIDS/war.
We witnessed for ourselves the hope and joy in the children already rescued by Watoto when their fundraising choir visited our church. This is a charity really making a difference.

Watoto Childcare Ministries is a response to the cry of the orphaned and vulnerable children of , whose lives have been ravaged by war and disease. They have established 3 villages which include clusters of homes, a nursery, school, vocational training centre, water project, medical clinic and a multi-purpose hall. Parentless children are not simply placed in orphanages but in loving homes where they are nurtured both spiritually, physically, educationally and emotionally. Children are rescued and then raised so that they in turn have a positive impact on their nation. The goal of this charity is to rescue 10,000 children in by 2023….that’s a lot of new families and homes!
