Raising money for

The Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust

Charity Registration No. 1075597

The Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust provides respite for children with life threatening conditions and support for the whole family at the hospice and in their own home. Our hospice called Treetops, is based in Trentham, on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent. Here we provide respite and end of life care for children from all over Staffordshire and South Cheshire that are between the ages of 0 and 19 years and have a life-threatening illness. We provide a safe, caring environment where children and families can truly feel at home.

A community nursing team provide respite and end of life care to children and families within their own homes.

Currently the Trust cares for 160 children from South Cheshire and Staffordshire. Its annual running costs of £2 million are obtained mainly from public donations.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

The Three Peaks Challenge which took place over the 26-27th June marked the start of our sponsorship of the Donna Louise Trust and we plan a number of other events over the coming months to give everyone an opportunity to help us to support this worthy cause. So far challenge has raised nearly £5,500 for the charity.

The next event was Chairty Ball on the 17th October at the Radisson Edwardian in Manchester which was attended by over 200 raised in excess of £6,500 so a huge thanl you to all who sponsored, joined us for the night and donated to the cause.

We're now looking for our third and final event and details will follow shortly.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us as the Donna Louise Trust will receive your money faster and if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
