Hi and thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Thank you to those who have made donations already. Be assured it is going to a good cause. I still have a fair way to go before I reach my target, so please please keep those donations coming!

I've completed the climb - and yes, I reached the summit. I haven't had a chance to upload the pictures but I will be putting up the picture with me by the cairn atop which marks the peak.

It took roughly 4 hours for the ascent and equally long for the descent. A twisted ankle, cramps, completely drenched clothes, 2 near-death experiences and generally sore muscles and joints all over later, I've made it through some of the most treacherous weathers I've ever experienced.

This was my bit for charity. I now need this grit and determination and deep desire to help a good cause to act as inspiration and to open up your hearts to help those that need help around the world.

ULFA Aid, the charity I’m raising funds for, support some of the most disadvantaged people around the globe, with a focus on children for this campaign. So often we feel helpless when we see such people suffering around the world, particularly innocent children - this is a chance for you to join me in making a difference.

Please donate generously. As UK taxpayers, you can utilise GiftAid, a tax redemption which adds to your donations.

As a bit of background information, Mount Ben Nevis is located at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in Scotland. The summit, at 1,344 metres (4,406 ft) above sea level, is the highest peak in the UK. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Nevis for more information.

Payment amounts are at your discretion and I've hidden the field that shows how much has been donated by individual people. Nonetheless, please donate generously!
