In July I will be running 10Km in London for (Acid Survivors Trust International) to provide help for victims of Acid Burn attacks. I am hoping to raise over £500 to go towards their cause.
I am sure very few of you will know about this terrible phenomenon, perhaps some of you may have heard of Katie Piper in the ? Tragically this happens around the world mostly stemming from domestic violence, usually against women but also there are cases with children, older women and men. I don’t think I need to explain the effects this can have on its victims. Not only will the money go towards rehabilitating and supporting the burns victims but through their campaigning and co-operating with National Governments the numbers of these horrific attacks can be substantially reduced.
It is not an enormous distance so if you would like to additionally give me a realistic challenge on a time please feel free and I will be happy to give it a go . I will soon be undergoing time trials, which I will publish here soon…....
