Why your donation matters

Adolescent girls in Africa experience poverty through gender relations that leave them powerless and vulnerable. This forces them into lives of low-paid work, early marriage, unwanted pregnancy and sexual and domestic violence. This gender injustice denies these girls their human rights and prevents the nation from benefiting from the invaluable economic and social contribution that young women can bring. Act4Africa will provide gender equality and health education, life-skills training and leadership opportunities to enable 65,000 vulnerable girls to escape poverty. Help release the untapped potential of adolescent girls through the provision of training, education and leadership opportunities.

Case study: donations in action

"Act4Africa are doing a great job training interactively with everyone gaining a great understanding.

My desire is that Act4Africa can train more children and their carers so that they can increase their knowledge and we can have an HIV/AIDS free generation".
