Each day in the UK five families are told their child has cancer or leukaemia. From that moment on their lives will never be the same again. Most children will survive, some will die, but the scars on every family will remain. CLIC's role is to try and help these children and their families cope and keep life as normal as possible. It offers an all-embracing approach including practical hands-on care, clinical services, financial and emotional support. CLIC has joined together with Sargent Cancer Care for Children to become the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity.

My story

Thank you friends,family,generous aquaintances for choosing to donate to my marathon attempt. By donating online CLICsargent will receive your money faster and, if you are a u.k taxpayer an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you. so please dig deep and whatever amount you choose to donate will be gratefully accepted. I hope to complete the distance in under 4 hours and so far training is going well. If you would like to support me on the day feel free to come along and cheer. thanks again to everyone for your support. Adam x just a quick update, its now three weeks to the big day and last week i successfuly completed a 20 mile run in 2hrs 54mins. which keeps me on target to do the full distance in 4hrs or less. thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far. i will let you know how i get on after the big day.
