I am 18 years old and am hoping to go to Durham University to study Law in October. Before I go I thought it would be worthwhile to set myself a target of doing something good for charity. Therefore I will be cycling 180 miles over 3 days from St Neots, Cambridgeshire to Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire starting on August 11th. To provide support I will be dragging my poor old dad along to cycle with me so we will be a super duo, steaming up the country! We have been training on and off for 6 months, but we are now very focussed and putting in some serious mileage to be as ready as we can be. We will be able to do it! We will be travelling independently, staying at bed and breakfasts, cycling along designated cycle routes with some improvisation needed at certain points!

I am doing this for the Alzheimer's Society as my grandma suffers from this illness and my great aunt did also. I will be hoping to raise money in order to help those who unfortunately suffer from it in the future. All donations will go to the Alzheimer's Society.
