My story

Dear Friends,

On 9th March 2008, I will be taking part, for the second time, in the gruelling 109km cycle race in Cape Town. http://www.cycletour.co.za/home.aspx

I am aiming to beat my time of 6hrs 14mins from March 2006 (this time without stopping for a rub down by the physios en-route).
**Picture on left is of me crossing the finish line in 2006**

This year I am raising money for ECHO a charity that is now very close to home since our daughter Sophia was diagnosed at three weeks old with a VSD (hole in the heart). In May 2007 at just three and a half months old Sophia had heart surgery at the Evelina Children's Hospital to close the hole.

We now have a happy and healthy 11 month old baby and we would like to thank all the staff at the Evelina Children's Hospital and hope to raise money for ECHO who continue to help other families with heart condition children.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ECHO at Guy's will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and hope you can sponsor me online.
Many thanks for your support.

Hope it goes well Donation by Ray and Lynne Hulme 24/01/08
