My story

 

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On my birthday this year, 5th October 2008, I competed in the Great North Run to raise money for Diabetes UK for this years Breadsall Priory Golf Club Captain, Bill Matthews and his Granddaughter.

I was aiming to beat my time from 2 years ago of 2 hours 5 minutes and 17 seconds.

I actually managed to complete the course in 1 hour 51 minutes and 53 seconds, a personal best. My finishing position was 7,728 out of 52,000.

Many thanks to all who helped raise money. The final total should be around the £1200 mark once all monies are collected.
