Following a daft bet I had with a Finn I am running a Half Marathon in the wonderful city of Helsinki.
The Finn I am challenging happens to run a half marathon in 1 hour 29.
I realised last night, as I was consuming my Lamb Jalfrezi, with Keema Naan, Saag Aloo, Special Rice and 4 Pints of Cobra that there was no possibility I would reach this time.
So I had a good idea, why not create something good out my immense pain and undoubtedly huge amounts of yacking.

A good friend of mine Graham Talmer, who was a long term sufferer of Bipolar recently passed away aged 42. It would be great for some positives to come out of his death, so I am going to be running for Equilibrium - The Bipolar Foundation to help others like G-Dog deal with this incredibly challenging illness. There is no question Graham would rather we spent the money on a few beers and some new tennis balls but I am not sure anyone would donate for that.
