Hanna's Orphanage Charity is set up to help the most vulnerable children in Ethiopia and its aim is to raise money to improve their lives and support their schooling. The Orphanage itself, run by Hanna Teshome, is now a home to almost 300 children that would have otherwise nowhere else to go.
The Charity I'm supporting is based in UK and works very closely with the Orphanage in responding to its financial needs. Since the Charity is set up by a group of volunteers, 100% of the money donated goes directly to the Orphanage.
For the second time Cass Business School is sending volunteers, two staff members and two students to teach in the Orphanage over summer, and I’m delighted to be one of them. Before the trip I'll be getting ready for the teaching role and fundraising for the Charity. Because the trip expenses are fully funded by Cass and me, all donations go directly to the Orphanage.
I’m extremely excited about getting involved and feel a great deal of responsibility of doing as much as I can towards fundraising before the trip. Every little help makes a huge difference in the children lives at the Orphanage, so please support this Charity and spare a donation.
We will be organising various events during upcoming months (cricket, golf, etc) and I encourage everyone to get involved. Will be fun!
