My story
Your help is needed..
The Al-Hasan Foundation is a non-profit Eye Clinic in Iraq (Najaf). It has been running on donations and provides Eyecare for the poor and needy regardless of their faith, religion or ethnic background.
The charity needs to move from barely covering the monthly Clinic costs to a position where funding is secure throughout 2012/13. So it needs your kind donations to raise £24,000 to keep the charity running for another year. It only costs an average of £2000 a month to run the Clinic which saves many people's vision and makes such a big difference.
Your kind donations will:
• Fund sight-saving treatment
• Upgrade essential equipment
• Provide training opportunities for local surgeons and students
• Promote research into the prevention of blindness
Al-Hasan Foundation will also ensure that all donors will be updated by email to show how your donations have made a difference.
Don't forget that your donations will go a long way as every £1 you donate will add another 25p to your donation giving the Foundation 25% extra.
