Dear Respected Brother / Sister,
As you know we purchased the Al Kawthar Academy Leicester building largely with Qardh Hasan kindly loaned by generous individuals in 2004. Alhamdulillah,more than half of the amount originally borrowed (£150,000) has now been paid off. We now just require 100 individuals to donate £240 each to pay off the remaining £24,000.
Please donate generously this Ramadhan to help us clear our debt and allow all the dawah work to continue.
‘Surely they who recite the Book of Allah and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them secretly and openly, hope for a gain which will not perish’ [Surah al Fatir, Verse 29]
'By no means shall you attain righteousness until you spend (benevolently) out of what you love; and whatever thing you spend, Allah surely knows it' [Surah aal Imran, Verse 92]
The building is used for the many dawah and religious activities organised by Al Kawthar Academy, and each Friday Shaykh Abu Yusuf Riyadh ul Haq delivers a dars of Saheeh al-Bukhari from this venue. These daroos are unique and I hope you will donate generously to ensure they continue. They are broadcast live on the internet so no matter where you live you can benefit from them insha'Allah.
