In Venture Africa we have funded successful water operations changing communities and individuals lives in Burkina Faso, Tanzania and  Ethiopa. We can therefore guarantee, from experience, that your money will go to where it matters most, and make a huge difference. 

Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world, with 70% of it's rural population living on less than $1 per day.  14% of the rural population have access to clean water and 7.5% to adequate sanitation.  We will dig new boreholes, construct school block and individual household latrines, put up gravity flow schemes and carry out training and capability build to ensure the projects are mantained. 4,000 will have access to clean water and 2,300 to improved sanitation.

Alan's run is the Grand Raid mountain race in Reunion, starting at midnight on 23rd October, and hopefully ending some 40 hours later after 148kms and 9,020m cumulative positive as well as negative altitude difference.  What's life without a little challenge every now and again to remind us how wonderful every breath is?!
