My story
All,
Further to my earlier e-mails I took part in the London triathlon at the weekend with the view of raising as much money as possible for The Oliver Foundation. Please see below for the time in took me:
Swim (1500m) - 25m33
Bike (40K) - 1h06m27secs
Run (10k) - 44m24secs.
Overall time including transitions was 2h21m50.
Came 72 out of 800+.
Many thanks for all your words of support before the event and I have now come to that time where I need to start collecting donations. I have set up a Just Giving page and will be taking donations through this. For those who offered me support via an e-mail either complete the online form (takes 2 mins) or please pass me or mail the cash or cheques but for ease of use I would prefer any donations to be made online as this is paid direct to the Charity and saves me carrying cash and cheques around. At the end of the day I want to make this as easy for everyone as possible so whatever suits you all.
Thank you all for your kind support and I look forward to seeing you all on the starting line next year.
