I am running the 2008 OMM Mountain Marathon for a charity called Camp Quality UK. I've been involved with the charity for a few years now, and they run fantastic activity holidays for children with cancer and their siblings. Having now volunteered on 4 camps I have seen first hand what a positive impact these holidays can have on children and their families. You can see more on www.campqualityuk.org.uk.
Giving kids these opportunities doesn't come cheap, so please sponsor me as generously as you can afford. The OMM takes place on the 25 and 26 October and involves me and a friend dragging each other up and down mountains in the Lake District wearing nothing but tight lycra and back packs with all our kit in. If we don’t get too lost this time it should take around 11 hours!
