Story

Hello

Thanks for popping by! I've decided to stop messing around with silly half-marathons (the sensation of not being able to walk for two days just wasn't exciting enough for me) and become a real man who does 26.2 miles instead. With this in mind, I have signed up to take part in the Robin Hood Marathon on Sunday 14th September 2008.

But as if that wasn't enough, as a little warm-up to it, I'm going to trek the Great Wall of China during the Olympics. I'll be doing about 20-odd miles a day for a week. Which will be nice, won't it!

I will be raising money for a local charity, Cerebral Palsy Sport, who help both children and adults with cerebral palsy achieve their sporting ambitions. I have been involved with the charity for many years and have seen first-hand how much good work they do.

If you could donate just a few pounds of your hard-earned cash, then I would be greatly appreciative. Whilst I hope your primary motivation for donating would be the desire to help others, I am only too aware that my own personal pain and suffering is a fairly healthy catalyst, as well. This is something I can handle. So please, whatever your reasons, please help me raise some much needed cash for this great cause.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cerebral Palsy Sport will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
