Thanks for visiting Alfie's page. Alfie was a beautiful little boy with a mop of dark hair, blue eyes and a happy disposition. Tragically at the beginning of June last year he became seriously ill. After numerous visits to different hospitals and being continually misdiagnosed, he was eventually transferred to Great Ormond Street Hospital where it was discovered that he had an inoperable brain tumour. Alfie died exactly one week after being diagnosed at just five and a half months old. As parents we wanted something positive to come from his short life so we set up an umbrella fund in Alfie's name under the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust. In two weeks this June I and hopefully a few others will be 'CYCLING FOR ALFIE' by cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats. Hopefully you can support us on our journey!
