So, ahem, yes. I'm running the marathon. Quite how, I'm not sure. But it's too late now, I've got to.
And it's for a really good cause. I chose Save The Rhino because, while growing up in South Africa, I got to see the efforts made by conservation staff first hand. But, while those efforts are admirable, they are executed in extremely difficult circumstances. Rhinos continue to come under threat from poaching, habitat destruction and human conflict, which is just very, very tragic - not to mention deeply unfair, really, if you think about it.
So, yes, please donate - even if it is a little bit. It really is appreciated! In the meantime, you can point and laugh at my feeble training efforts as they are covered in the Independent (more details to follow).
