This fabulous charity, Alone in London is distinct for its twin track response to the issue of youth homelessness: crisis support by way of secure accommodation and access to mental health and family mediation caseworkers, and the prevention youth homelessness programme that they run in schools and education units within two leading London hospitals. Each year, on average, they help some 2,000 vulnerable young people.
