KILIMANJARO TREK FOR CHARITY
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Premier Education helping to staff schools in the Greater Manchester area, and to raise funds for the Five Stars Appeal, a children’s charity based in Manchester.
I've taken part in a sponsored trek to the top of Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. At 6.30am on 12th Augsut 2011 after 7 1/2 hours trekking through the night I reached the top of Kilimanjaro. One of the hardest things I've ever done.
The money raised will be presented to the charity at an event on the 7th October 2011 and if you would like further information about the charity you can check out their website at http://www.fivestarsappeal.co.uk
Thank You
Alistair
