NDCS is the national charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. We represent the interests and campaign for the rights of all deaf children and young people from birth to independence. NDCS believes that the family is the most important influence on a deaf child's development. NDCS supports the deaf child through the family as well as directly supporting deaf children and young people themselves.

Hi, thank you for coming to my fundraising page.

13/08/08 - Sadly, on the advice of my cardiac surgeon, I have had to withdraw from this race. He says such antics must wait until he has repaired my heart valves, rather than risk damaging my heart just before the operation. I have loved the challenge, so will definitely be back next year, fitter and even faster I hope! I am proud to say that my last run was 9 miles non-stop in a respectable, if steady, 9 mins 40 per mile average. so I'm looking forward to going much faster once I have a fully functioning heart!
