Hello.

Those of you that know me, know that I enjoy the odd run or two. However, in September I will be taking on my biggest challenge yet, running 153 miles non-stop in less than 36hrs from Athens to Sparta in what is regarded as one of the worlds Hardest Single Stage Ultramarathons

"The Spartathlon"

The race follows the original route that the Athenian messenger Pheidippides took 2,500 years ago during the Persian invasion of Greece when seeking help from the Spartans

 

I will be running this in support of 12 year old Dana Johnston who suffers from Spastic Cerebral Palsy.

We're hoping to raise a total of £60,000

Fundraising is taking place to pay for life-changing treatment which will hopefully allow her her to walk independently for the first time in her life.
