My story

Huck Cancer is our chosen charity for the Alps to Ardeche 2012. Huck Cancer was founded by Marcus Parrott, a Courchevel seasonaire who was diagnosed with and treated for skin cancer in 2007/8.

Marcus started the foundation to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and for the Centre Hospitalier in Chambery where he received much of his treatment and which allowed him to complete his winter season.

This is the third year of the Alps to Ardeche cycle - a huge challenge for all involved and a great opportunity to make some money for a good cause. This year is the longest and hilliest yet so we'll need all of the motivation that we can find to keep those pedals turning! Please give generously.

All of the money that we create through this page will go to Macmillan Cancer support whilst everything that we generate locally will go to the Hospital in Chambery. It’s a kind of race in itself – we have to match everything that is generated online with our efforts locally to keep the contributions equal!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure so please dig deep and donate now.
