My story
When I decided to apply for the London Marathon it was really important to me to support an LGB charity. I consider that I've been really lucky during my life and career, and have mostly been treated with respect for my sexual orientation. However I know that many other people have not been so lucky, in fact 1 in 3 LGB people have experienced some form of homophobic attack and it’s for them that I’m doing this.
I’m not exactly a spring chicken or the fittest that I have ever been, so this is a HUGE challenge for me. Please dig deep and donate now.

The Lesbian & Gay Foundation supports over 40,000 lesbian, gay and bisexual people each year. We provide a huge range of support services around health and wellbeing, anti-homophobia projects, a national helpline as well as a range of guides and resources.
