We are a group of American Civil War reenactors who having completed the Adidas half Marathon in March 2010 by marching the whole 13 and a bit miles in civil war kit, including full packs, guns and authentic footwear, have decided to continue our fund raising efforts for the ABF by undertaking another challenge.  

This next endeavour will take place at the "Blasts from the past!" multi-period reenactment event at Broadlands in August 2011. The plan is to put together a team of people to take part in each of the reenactments and demos consecutively  in all three of the arenas. Given that there are about 40 or 50 reenactments and demos planned this should proved a considerable challenge. The exact details have yet to be worked out but we are hoping for teams of around six people for each arena with a number of additional supporters  to help the "fighting" teams change between each event.
