I'm Amy, 20 and thought i'd give a bit back to a charity that has helped me a lot over the past five years.
I have terminal cancer but it hasn't beaten me yet. I'm determined, and slightly stubborn, so am adamant i need to hang around and do a few things i have always wanted to do before i finish my rollercoaster of a journey.
One of these is to leave a legacy. I don't have a clue where to start on that one but i know that a little goes a long way and what a better start than to help such an amazing charity.
I chose this charity as i have the most amazing Sargeant Social worker called Helen McCulloch. She's stuck by me and my family these last few years and has helped us with everything from forms, to treats, to being a listening ear or just being there for us, I couldn't of asked for a better person; a better friend. So thankyou Helen, this is all for you and the charity you work for xxx
I don't want to raise millions. I just want to make a difference, if only a small one. Wasn't it god that said "It Only Takes Faith As Small As A Mustard Seed To Move Mountains?"
