My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I am going to be raising money for Richard House Children's Hospice in East London, so this really is for a worthy cause.

This is definitely going to be one of the most difficult  tasks I have ever faced but I'm up for the challenge. I'm just going to have to cut down on the Marmite sandwiches, Marmite on toast, marmite crumpets, ciggarettes and booze and pray it's downhill all the way. It's been brought to my attention that I should also give up trying to spell aswell.

The bike ride starts on 5th September and I need to raise £1000, so please please dig deep and remember it's for the kid's.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Richard House Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Below are a few things your money can provide, please read on....

£10 can…

Stimulate an imagination

Your gift could purchase the materials needed to create a multi-sensory story pack for severely disabled children. For example, a blind child might be able to get involved with the story by feeling different objects, or by smelling and tasting food.

£25 can…

Support for families

Your gift could pay for a family with a child who has a life-limiting or life-threatening condition to stay with their child at a hospice, by spending the night in one of our residential flats. This would include fresh family meals, laundry and housekeeping.

£35 can…

Provide opportunities for fun and friends

Your gift could pay for a party for the brothers and sisters of children visiting Richard House. The Siblings’ Group regularly gets together at the bowling alley, cinema or the hospice itself, toshare experiences and have fun with their peers.

£50 can…

Pay for a day out

Your gift could pay for the costs of a minibus for a day, so that the children can spend a day outat the local park or sailing club.

£100 can…

Provide practical assistance for disabled children

Your gift could pay for a highly-trained paediatric physiotherapist to visit Richard House, andwork ‘hands on’ with the children who visit us. This will make a lasting difference, as it will helpus to increase the children’s mobility, and reduce their discomfort.

£250 can…

Pay for something very snazzy

Your gift could help us pay for a library of educational CDs and DVDs, enabling children andyoung people to visit Richard House Children’s Hospice to learn about London’s diversecultures, and about sensitive issues such as illness, disability and death.

So please sponsor me now!

Thanks for visiting my site and taking the time to sponsor me.

Cheers.
