On Saturday 22nd February 2014 I pledged to have my head shaved for two incredibly great causes, and I've done it, it's official, I am now a skinhead!!!

This was all part of the 'Play2Give' Fundraising Evening of which I co-organised and held at The Marlborough Club in Didcot.

All funds I raise will be shared between Oxford Children's Hospital (60%) and the John Radcliffe Paediatric Eye Fund (40%)

As most of you know the Oxford Children's Hospital is a cause close to my heart after being treated throughout childhood and they saved my life with major brain surgery aged 12.

I have dedicated the last decade to raising money for the hospital with the help support and involvement of thousands over this time and this is my way of celebrating raising nearly £33k since 2003 by having my head shaved to a #1 all over to mark my achievement whilst raising money for such fantastic causes helping sick children!     I have never had a skinhead before so the prospect is scary but nothing compared to what children at the hospital battle against every day and now the deed is done, must admit I am loving my new look! 

Latest fundraiser tots up total of £33k for children's hospital

The Paediatric Eye Fund at the JR raises funds for pioneering equipment and research for children + premature babies suffering many forms of debilitating and potentially sight threatening eye disease.

Please be generous and dig deep even if just a pound to help these good causes!
