In 2005 a very good friend of mine, Anthony Hodges, tragically died of a brain tumour. Since then I have done a few other events for charity but with this year being my 30th, I have decided to give myself a proper challenge. On the 8th August I took part in the Mazda London (Olympic) Triathlon. This involved swimming 1500m in the London docks, cycling 40km through the streets of London, ending with a 10km run. 18th April, Kempley Duathlon: 3.5 mile run, 17 mile cycle, 3.5 mile run

6th June, Mazda Blenheim Triathlon: 750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run
COMPLETED: 1hr 24min 12sec (Position 454th / 2847)
19th September, Newent Triathlon: 400m swim, 18km cycle, 5km run
COMPLETED: 1hr 02min 31sec (Position 27th / 168)
For me this was a serious challenge but I am doing it for a very deserving charity and in memory of a fantastic mate, so all donations are very much appreciated.
