Compass is a network of projects for people with learning disabilities. It is a small local charity. Compass offers advocacy support, advice and guidance to people with learning disabilities to improve the quality of their lives. Projects include Can Can Recycling, Can Can Bazaar (social businesses) and Beyond(Youth project)

A Team from Compass Advocacy Network (Janet Schofield, Nicola Gault, Andrew Schofield and Jane Weir), are taking part in the

Slieve Donard Challenge on

Saturday 13th June 2009

in aid of the Down’s Syndrome Association (Northern Ireland) and proceeds in excess of £100 will go to the Compass Advocacy Network, Charity No. XR23013 (a user-led charity for adults labelled as having a learning disability). At 850m, Slieve Donard (Sliabh Domengard) is the highest mountain in Northern Ireland and the total distance climbed will be around 9km.
