Training African health workers to ride/drive and maintain motorcycle and four wheel vehicles, Riders also provides technical support and cost-per-kilometre calculations that keep vehicles running efficiently and cost-effectively. The result - 10.8 million people in isolated rural communities accessing vital health care, often for the first time ever.

The fundrasing Afrrica off road bike ride takes place at the beginning of November 2007, for more details about the event click on www.enduroafrica.com. I have rasied the £4500 to enable me to take part, the balance of the 10k now goes direct to the Riders charity.

Riders charity manages 1274 vehicles, reaching 10.8 million people with health care.

Every £10 pounds rasied can provide health care for 100 people.
