My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I am running on April 13 2008 at the London Marathon for Cancer Research UK. The reason is simple. My father died of pancreatic cancer. Even if dangerous and invasive surgery removes the tumour the remission rate, the chances of being here 5 years from diagnosis is round or about 1%. Many other cancers have improved their rates through the excellent research and detection methods pioneered by Cancer Research UK.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
