Duncan and I have decided to cycle an exhausting 961 miles from John O’Groats to Lands End in 11 days to raise money for a great cause - The Ronald McDonald House Charities.
RMHC provides 'home away from home' accommodation for parents with children in hospital. It gives the family a room to stay in, allowing them to be together in a home like environment making a very difficult situation a little easier.
There are 12 Ronald McDonald Houses and 29 sets of Ronald McDonald Family Rooms across the UK, providing over 350 bedrooms every night of the year for families to stay in. The Charity is currently working on its biggest project to date, a 60-bedroom Ronald McDonald House that will serve the families of children being treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Every £ we can raise will help the RMHC carry on their brilliant work. Dontating through Justgiving is quick, easy and thoroughly secure. It is the most efficient way of sponsing Duncan and I.
