Huge thanks to those who have kindly sponsored us however .... Kris's wife Claudia has been confined to bed on doctor's orders until the baby arrives in August - so he will be staying home. We hope to reschedule the trip for September or may take up a different challenge in November. Either way I hope you're happy for the Evelina to hold onto your cash for the time being. Of course in the (very) unlikely event of us not being able to get things organised before the end of the year the money will be refunded. It's been four years since we climbed a mountain together - so we've decided to make up for lost time and attempt four in one go.
On June 26th we set off for the French Alps where we'll have a bash at the ultimate 4x4 ... four 4,000 metre plus summits in five days.
Regular readers of GQ will be disappointed to learn that Ellis 'airlift' Watson will not be able to join us this time but he'll be with us in spirit.
Our aim is to raise a fair lump of cash for the brilliant Evelina Children's Hospital where both Andy's son Monty and Kris's Godson Lucas Johnston were treated.
There's not much time to make your pledge so please don't hang about ... you can sponsor us per peak or as an all or nothing donation. The cause could not be a better one.
