On Friday, the 4th of December we packed our sleeping bags and warm clothes and slept outside for a night to support CATH with their Big Sleep Out 2009. What started off as a little adventure at 10.00 pm quickly showed us how distressing it is not to have a roof over your head at night. Even though it was not really that cold and all our stuff kept us quite warm - it was hard to cope with the rain and we were pretty soaked in the morning and happy to go home for some proper sleep. Well that's us being much more lucky than someone who does not have a home. We really appreciated the work of CATH who where there that night with hot tea, shelter and some chat as they are night after night for the homeless people in Chester.
