Hi All,

This Year I met Lesley Knight at our Breakfast meeting, who works for the County Air Ambulance Trust.  Lesley shared with us the heart breaking story of the loss of her only son Thomas aged 11 in a road accident.  Thomas was air lifted to hospital after the accident however vital time was lost as the Air ambulance had to land in the road due to the hospital not having a helipad. 

Lesley now works tirelessly raising money for the HELP (Helicopter Emergency Landing Pads) appeal.  The appeal focuses on raising money to provide helipads to as many locations as possible.  This will help save more time in getting patients to hospitals and more importantly save lives.

The breakfast group wished to support Lesley and have arranged a bike ride from Stafford to Caernarfon.  124 miles in one day.  The group I am riding with is of mixed ability and we are all busy meeting for training rides each month to raise money for this great cause. Please donate what you can
