My story

From here you can help support the work I am doing in South America. I work as a missionary for Latin Link in La Paz, Bolivia. My time is split between three projects. I work three days a week supporting street children living on the streets in El Alto (the largest slum in South America) and also in the city centre. There over 800,000 children living and working on the streets of Bolivia at the moment, many addicted to destructive substances such as glue and alcohol, and others to even more dangerous substances. Many of them are also victims of abuse from various differen sources. You can read more about this work on my webpage, andyinsouthamerica.
The rest of my time is spent working in a small, very poor church, close to El Alto, in particular working with the young people in the church, and also between working on translating and contextualising a leadership resource to try and help train youth leaders in the whole of Bolivia. The aim being to hopefully run a fully funded one year course for youth leaders in El Alto who otherwise would not be able to afford any training.
The cost of the first two years of work is approximately £16,000. If you would like to help contribute please feel free.
