Story
Hi all
On 2nd October, I'm joining with some colleagues to sleep rough for a night at Marshall's Aerospace, to raise awareness and funds for Action for Children. It seems a bit wrong that teenagers can find themselves homeless, but a relationship breakdown or an abusive household can cause young people to find themselves on the street. Fortunately, the numbers of under 18s sleeping rough are very low, but that's largely due to the work of organisations such as Action for Children, who work hard (in partnership with local councils) to stop a bad situation from getting worse.
I'll only be sleeping rough for a night, but it's likely to be cold, probably wet and definitely unsheltered! If you could consider sponsoring me for a night of discomfort then that would be great.
