My story
I have now applied for and been offered a place in the Clipper Round the World Race 09-10. Although the race does not start until September 2009, my sea training starts in March 2008. I have to spend four full weeks at sea before I am able to compete in the full race which involves 14 ports, 35,000 miles of sailing and 10 months at sea.
It is the ultimate team building and leadership course and a great opportunity to raise money for our local charity, the Rainbow Centre for Conductive Education.
